The Chardonnay is grown on limestone slopes surrounding the village of Monthelie. It is delicate yet lively and has developed rich aromas of stewed apple, brioche, exotic fruits and hazelnuts. Smooth and round in the mouth with a fine acidity, it finishes long with nuances of buttery oak lingering on the palate.
