German wines are a harmony between sweetness, acidity and lower alcohol. Riesling grown along the steep, slatey banks of the river Mosel is testament to great German wines. Aromatic, delicate, racy and long-lived, German wines have been underrated due to trends and somewhat complicated wine labels, however, times are changing. Some producers are creating drier wines to meet consumer demand while not loosing sight of their world famous sweet wines.
