From the the superb 2010 vintage the Vina Ardanza is intense cherry red in colour, with a garnet rim. Complex and expressive nose with spicy aromas of pepper, cloves and nutmeg, along with notes of cedar, cocoa powder and toasted wood, which envelop delicate nuances of red and black fruit such as candied cherry, blueberry and currant. On the palate, its initial freshness and balance stand out, its marked, sweet and elegant tannins, which provide structure and breadth. Long, persistent and complex finish, with an aftertaste that confirms its character and depth.
