Not sure about a red or a white - try an orange!
It's that time of year where we waver between wines with a bit of uncertainty - so why not take the opportunity to try something a bit different? Orange wines have become more visible on the wine spectrum recently and theres a good reason for that...
Their fine tannins impart tecture and substance, something slightly gratifying in the mouthfeel which offers up savoury, earthy nuances while still managing to maintain the freshness we associate with a white wine. Lunaria Ancertral Organic and Biodynamic Orange wine made from 100% Malvasia is a great example of this; a beautiful balance between the floral fruit character of this varietal and the rich texture which comes from the skin contact giving its distinctive orange colour - well worth a try!
