It's my favourite calender event, and this year's Round The Island Race got off to a cracking start! What a fantastic spectacle for those of us land-lubbers standing under the Squadron and holding our breath, we could have literally have reached out (with a big stick) and touched the boats tacking towards us. What amazing skill and nerve - it took my breath away!
