We recently stumbled across this label made by David Cope and Simon Wibberley who don't own vineyards or a winery and yet they produce these winderfully unorthodox yet superbly drinkable wines. How's that then, you may ask? Well, David and Simon work with carefully selected farms across the Western Cape, many owned by friends, a relationship which is key to their wine's consistency and quality. The pair have as much hands-on involvement as possible, whether it be harvesting, sorting or shovelling grapes into a fermenter.
