Nestled amongst the forested mountain range of Vosges is Alsace with its fairy tale villages and superb wines which are so often overlooked. For some of its history Alsace belonged to Germany and this is not only reflected in the names of certain towns but also through its distinctive tall slim green bottles, quite different to any others in France. Alsation wines are full bodied, rich and very aromatic - a true delight.
